@thomas github is from Microsoft, what did you expect? MS is all about backwards compatibility and github is no different.
@thomas To be fair, github is *owned* by Microsoft, and only for a couple of years now.
Interestingly enough, they do IPv6 on bing.com, but still not for microsoft.com yet.
Full disclosure: I haven't gotten my own IPv6 going yet either 😞
... GitHub on the other hand is still only available from legacy internet. :-(
