Rarely seen outside of captivity, this amazing photo captures the elusive fighter jet as it takes a moment to drink from the cool, refreshing water of a nearby river.

Sorry for swearing but for fuck's sake, why is trending on twitter? The very idea that the internet is 'owned' by a small cabal of social media services is exactly why they all need to be burned down. If a few servers can go down and put the net in peril, it's time to build a new network.

Solidarity with whoever's behind Facebook's server outage. Your efforts are commended and I hope there is more to come 🎉

Facebook, whistleblower

Facebook's internal research: "We estimate that we may action as little as 3-5% of hate and about [0.6%] of V & I [violence and incitement]… We have evidence [that] Facebook and the family of apps are affecting societies around the world."

Frances Haugen, whistleblower: "Facebook has realized that if they change the algorithm to be safer, people will spend less time on the site, they'll click on less ads, they'll make less money."

Youtube algorithmic subtitles simply do not understand Kier Starmer's name. So far the best misinterpretation I've seen is "kiss dharma". Wish I'd got a screenshot now 😅

Mulan the sleeping girl.

Also a bonus wearing the hat I crocheted for her while I was on holiday :blobmiou: #catterday

What new projects have hackers taken on? What engagements have intensified, which have waned or withered?
