@hamjb I don't think so, that's why I wrote "or in general". I think i tried it before and it didn't work, so I guess it's an instance thing or a mastodon thing. I'll check that out some other time again, when I have more time :)

You could try pinafore.social to check if uploads are disabled your instance. Could be it isn't tusky bug.
