First pixelfed post. A sample of pics from my recent holiday in Japan.
Not surprised at all. This is why I am here after all. #deletefacebook
This is a magnificent and brutally honest portrait of national reflection. Many more nations could use the same kind of honest reflection. Leaving aside the powerful message, the track also stands up musically, perfectly messaging the sentiment of the lyrics. It’s just wonderful. I haven’t been the biggest fan of theirs but this is awesome. Bravo Rammstein.
With respect to Rammstein’s new song, I didn’t want to post reflexively. I’ve taken a couple of days to listen, read a few translations of the lyrics and the discussion around the lyrics, watched the video a few times. I’ve listened to the ciriticism. I can honestly say that in my humble opinion, Rammstein have delivered an absolute masterpiece in every sense of the word. (continued in reply).
Peak Arch Enemy. Had this on heavy rotation back in the day. 🤘
Back at work today after a 2 week holiday in Japan with my daughter. Had a great time but now wearing the monkey suit and on the train with the other wage slaves it seems a distant memory and I’m feeling pretty dark on the world. What better way to deal with post-holiday malaise than with some old school Accept? Fast as a shark! 🤘
Taking a sledgehammer to Friday with Herod! 🤘🤓🤘
On the way to work. Trains are fucked, but I don’t care cos I’m rocking out to this cracking album by Earthless. Have a good day everyone. 🤘😎
Guten morgen metalheads! How are you kicking off Monday?
Good morning fellow metalheads. What ditty’s are gracing your headphones this fine day? For me it’s Iron Maiden 🤘
convicted pedophile priest; swearing
In honour of the historic verdict finding Cardinal George Pell (3rd most powerful Catholic) guilty of child sexual abuse, I present this article from the (satirical) newspaper The Betoota Advocate.
And to conclude, I’ll let Nuclear Assault take us out.
Real animal bloodstains.
Despite the fact I thought I was far enough from the stage to be “safe”, I (and many others) still got covered in blood. Haha - I guess that’s how you know you’ve been to a Watain gig.
Saw Watain on Friday and they were terrific. The venue was cosy, Watain were on fire, and the place was a heaving mass of black metal loving crazies. It was great! Here’s a small snippet.
Looking forward to seeing Watain tonight. 🤘
Heavy metal is in my blood. I love almost all styles. Hoping to engage with metalheads from around the world, and learn about even more metal. \m/
