I just quit my job and start a new one in May. Now I've got the rest of April to write some music, or even better finish some songs.
Maybe someone wants to join in? I'm always interested in collaborations and genre crossovers. @musicians

"Police are warning students and universities not to access Sci-Hub, an "illegal website" that allows users to download scientific research papers normally locked behind expensive subscriptions."

Very bad indeed. That name again: Sci-Hub. Remember it so you can avoid it. Ahem.

@musicians @TQ there's a Lo-Fi/Bitcrusher Plug-In emulating the Sega Mega Drive that you can get for free. Works for us Linux users too!

Another FAWM song, this time acoustic with (German) vocals. Not my best song, but sometimes one need to write a quick song too. 😉

Released my third song for 2021 last night. This time with lyrics and a new bass Amp (didn't liked the old one at all).

Took me way too long, as I was clearly overkilling the mix for the purpose it serves (writing many songs), but I just couldn't stop it. And I'm happy with the outcome 🙂

Edited my second song for yesterday. It's a collaboration with @TQ

I'm already thinking about a second version of this song. Longer, some lyrics in the clean part and more combination of electro and guitar.

@TQ but don't blame me for the drums, I don't know anything about drumming 😅

@TQ actually inspired me to take part in .
Here's my first song, not the best, but I finished it in 2 evenings, I'm pretty happy with that.

@TQ my business model is to give free feedback on mixes so that they are good enough when I professionally master the project. There's no point in mastering a project where the people mixing didn't go as far as they could.
So advice is free
Mastering is a busines thing

And well, I like to help, I can't help it ;)

(musicians reading this thread, it's for you too. Hit me up with your music if you want, I'll give you free feedback if you want to.)

As I promised i start a last try, to create music via mastodon. This time it's not as complex as the last one.

To increase the chance of success you may share this post if you like.

@TQ I finally managed to create my first Sample/Loop yesterday based on an idea I had a few weeks ago. Now available as Single and Double tracked version as well as DIs if you don't like my Amp settings:

@TQ oh wow, I wasn't prepared for such a great resonance. I would be ready to share it with the fediverse, but I'm thinking of a good place to put them. Bandcamp should work, any other suggestions?
